Do exempting students and protecting research mean the same thing?

There is the same meaning between "no push" and "no push". The "no push" means that graduates can apply for master’s degree and graduate students can be exempted from the initial examination after obtaining the qualification of "no push". After obtaining the qualification of undergraduate study, they can apply for graduate students in their own school or other schools, and they don’t need to take the national unified initial examination, but only participate in the re-examination organized by the school.

Exempting students and protecting research are the same concept. Undergraduate students who are guaranteed to study are called "exempt students", which is the full name of "recommending outstanding undergraduate graduates to study for master’s degree without examination".

Among them, "exemption from examination" means that "the fresh graduates of ordinary colleges and universities do not have to go through the initial examination of the unified national postgraduate entrance examination and directly enter the second examination". When determining the exemption index, most colleges and universities will divide the index into the following four categories: academic extrapolation, academic extrapolation, professional extrapolation and professional extrapolation.
