  It takes about four or five hours to reach the core area of Bohai Bay by boat from Nanhuangcheng Island, where Jinghai 001 is located.

  The cage is 68 meters long and 68 meters wide, and its area is equivalent to the size of 11 standard basketball courts. It can hold 70,000 cubic meters of seawater and raise 1,000 tons of fish at a time.

  The huge and sturdy cage provides an incomparable growth environment for deep-sea fish, and intelligence makes every fish from the deep sea have exclusive identity information.

  On the blue sea, there are not only intelligent "deep-sea fish ponds", but also "mobile marine pastures" in more distant waters.

  This "Big Mac at Sea" is the world’s first 100,000-ton intelligent fishery large-scale aquaculture ship, and the most important "resident" on board is the large yellow croaker, which ranks first among the "four major seafood".

  There are 15 breeding cabins like this on the Guoxin No.1 engineering ship. This "Big Mac" at sea has a displacement of nearly 130,000 tons. To achieve "balance of payments", it naturally needs the same amazing water supply. It can find the freshest and most suitable seawater for large yellow croaker in the far-reaching waters 100 nautical miles offshore.

  Brand-new breeding mode needs to be equipped with brand-new automation equipment. As soon as the "Fandianer" arrived, the feeding system was automatically turned on, and the large yellow croakers lurking in the cabin got up in droves to feed. Such a scene was staged in the morning and evening.

  Seeding, feeding, changing water, catching, processing and transporting … … The intelligence of the whole process makes this huge marine ranch become a giant offshore fishery factory at the same time.

  Relying on the pioneering "on-board cabin culture" mode, Guoxin No.1 aquaculture ship can supply 3,700 tons of high-quality fish and 650 tons of high-quality protein every year. At harvest time, the large yellow croaker in the cabin will be directly transported to the dormancy pool through the fish suction pump and conveyor belt, where it will be quickly cooled, dormant and fresh.

  Live fish are caught, frozen in ice slurry and transported by cold chain. These high-quality fish can be sent to consumers’ tables in the first time.

  High-quality animal protein makes the food from the sea not only exclusive to coastal residents, but the fishing season of three or four months every year makes the huge market demand face the gap of wild aquatic products supply. As an important supplement, aquaculture contributes 80% to the market.

  In the past 32 years, China’s aquaculture output ranked first in the world, and about 40% of the global aquaculture products came from China. However, the proportion of marine fish is not high in such a huge aquaculture output in China.
