　　众所周知，莫斯科红场阅兵是前苏联和俄罗斯的传统民族节日，首次阅兵是在1918年，当时是为了纪念十月革命胜利一周年。此后，红场阅兵不定期举行，有时甚至每年举行一次。苏联解体以后，俄罗斯在1991年至1995年取消了红场阅兵式，1996年决定恢复阅兵式，并把阅兵日定在了5月9号，以此来纪念反法西斯和卫国战争的胜利。64年前，苏联军民经过4年浴血奋战，保家卫国，以牺牲2700万人的代价，战胜了德国法西斯。

　　红场阅兵的重大意义，不仅是庆祝卫国战争的伟大胜利，更重要的是让人民记住这段历史。正如梅德韦杰夫总统在阅兵仪式上讲到的那样：反法西斯战争犹如一堂课，既教育了善良的民众，也教育警示了战争的发动者；卫国战争的参与者，将自己的生命和对自由的追求献给了祖国，这是俄国人民巨大的历史遗产。他强调指出，今天俄罗斯面临的形势与64年前一样，依然存在“军事冒险主义”的威胁，需要人民团结起来共同对敌。

　　俄罗斯通过在全国各大城市举行大规模的阅兵仪式，来唤醒人民的记忆，教育人民特别是教育青年一代不要忘记历史，要增强忧患意识，弘扬爱国主义和民族主义精神，在新的军事威胁和困难面前仍需要团结和牺牲精神。

　　二是鼓舞国民士气，促进经济增长

　　受全球金融危机的影响，俄罗斯经济自去年下半年以来日趋衰退，人民的精神生活和物质生活受到了重大的影响。今年以来，俄罗斯政府采取多种应对金融危机的措施，使俄罗斯经济和社会生活逐步趋于稳定，在这个时候借助卫国战争胜利纪念日来高调举行红场阅兵式，通过展示军队的发展变化来反映俄罗斯的政治、经济和社会的全面发展，让人民看到俄罗斯有一支强大的军队，向国际社会展示俄罗斯正在恢复它的大国形象。

　　In this sense, holding a military parade is not only an important activity to celebrate the anniversary of the victory of the Great Patriotic War, but more importantly, it can mobilize people’s positive emotions, boost people’s morale and promote Russia’s all-round political, economic and social development.

　　It is in this sense that this year’s Russian military parade is somewhat unusual. Russia not only held a large-scale military parade in Moscow’s Red Square, but also held military parade ceremonies of different scales in major cities all over the country and cities where military region headquarters are located. The number of military parade locations, scale and influence are beyond any year in history. People see the happy smiling faces of the Russian people on TV, which is probably the positive effect expected by the Russian government to organize a large-scale military parade in a high-profile manner.

　　Although the NATO military exercise and the Red Square military parade are planned "coincidences", it is undoubtedly a clear "warning" for the NATO joint military exercise to use the "coincidences" to show the strength of the Russian army, especially the appearance of the newly developed S-400 Triumph air defense missile system and the "Baiyang-M" intercontinental ballistic missile and other advanced heavy weapons. Although Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin once said that this is "not a show of force, nor will it threaten anyone". It should be said that it is the best advertising to show the world the latest Russian conventional weapons with the opportunity of the Red Square military parade.

　　The T-90 main battle tank, new infantry fighting vehicle and paratrooper fighting vehicle, 125mm self-propelled anti-tank gun, Tornado rocket launcher system and iskander-M tactical missile displayed by Russia in this year’s military parade are all first-class equipment in the world. In particular, the S-400 Triumph air defense missile system, which debuted in the military parade, has a range of up to 400 kilometers. It fully applies the most advanced technical research results in this field and is superior to the Patriot missile of the United States in terms of flight speed and hit accuracy. It is the most advanced air defense missile system in the world at present.

　　At the beginning of this year, the Russian government announced the implementation plan of the Russian army’s reduction reform, and planned to reduce the number of generals to 1 million by 2012. This reform plan met with considerable resistance in China. Facing a new round of strategic nuclear disarmament negotiations with the United States internationally, Russia’s military reform is about to enter a critical stage.
